Tim’s love and passion for the arts began as a young boy, growing up in South Mississippi. Coming from a family with a heritage in ministry and music, it was natural that Tim found his love for serving God in music and the arts.
Tim first began his service on church staff as a pianist in ninth grade and continued serving in this role through college. After receiving his Bachelors degree from William Carey University, he headed to study church music at New Orleans Baptist Seminary. Tim served churches from New Orleans to Grand Cayman before coming to First Baptist Lafayette, Louisiana where he presently serves as the Minister of Worship Arts.
At First Baptist Lafayette, Tim conducts the First Baptist Orchestra as well as serves as cheif producer. In addition to producing, he has also written a number of the Singing Christmas Tree shows. His newest show, “Keep Calm…Christmas is Coming” was also original scored by Grammy and Dove Award winner, David T. Clydesdale.
For Tim, ministry does not stop at the church door. Since his first mission trip with the Baptist Student Union in College at William Carey University, he has been hooked on missions. His trips have taken him to Honduras, El Salvador, Russia, Romania and Haiti. Since the devestating earthquake in 2010, Tim has traveled numerous times to Haiti to encourage and help the ongoing ministry effort in this poverty stricken country.
